FREE TAX & VAT HALF DAY COURSE IN HOCKLEY!

As you are aware, we have been working with Anglia Ruskin University to provide relevant training courses to you through Shop at my Local. These courses are FREE to traders that are part of the campaign.

The first will be on Tax & VAT and will be run by HMRC. This will take place on Tuesday 30th March 2010, 9:30am- 12:30pm, at Kilnfield House, Hockley, SS5 4HS. I have attached a booking form which you will need to complete and return to us using the details at the bottom of this email if you wish to attend. I have also attached directions to the venue and the Survive & Thrive Flyer for your information.

This half day course will cover the following topics:

• Changes for Employers
• New rules for Capital Allowances effective from 6 April 2008
• Should you be thinking about VAT?
• Help available during the recession – problems paying your tax & NIC?
• New Rules for penalties
• Online Filing Obligations and coming deadlines.

Please note that there are only 45 places available on this course and therefore places will be booked on a first come, first serve basis. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Kilnfield House is located on the Foundry Business Park which is adjacent to Hockley train station
