Annual members meal 2010

We recently enjoyed an evening at the Royal Oak in Stambridge

Last week around 25 members attended our annual meal at the Royal Oak in Stambridge.

Unfortunately there were a few absences due to illness and we wish those members a speedy recovery.

We enjoyed a nice meal and chairman Jeff Stanton entertained us all with his customary speech, littered with jokes and one-liners!

He presented a few bottles to say thank you for assistance behind the scenes and presented flowers to Shirley James.

A special award went to the team of Potters, who celebrated their 100th year of trading in 2009! A fantastic achievement.

We look forward to a prosperous 2010 for all members and hope to see everyone at forthcoming meetings and, of course, next years meal.
