Hockley Police find a home

at Wells Legal Homes

Wells Legal Solicitors and Wells Legal Homes are delighted to be able to help the local bobbies in Hockley.

Based opposite Somerfield at 42b Spa Road, Hockley, Wells Legal Homes, an estate agency (run as a department within the legal practice of Wells Legal Solicitors) have extended the use of their premises to local police as a place of respite for beat officers.

On 24th March, PC Steve Joynes, PCSO Laura Merrell, PCSO John Venner and Jeff Stanton (Chairman of Hockley Chamber of Trade and Commerce) were guests of the partners of Wells Legal Solicitors, Andrew and Yuping Wells. It was an invitation to lunch, during which keys to the office were also formally handed over.

Senior partner Andrew says: “We welcome this strategy along side our other community initiatives such as school visits, free seminars and legal surgeries. Other local residents and traders should benefit along with us with the security that comes from the enhanced police presence.”
