Police drawing attention to purse and wallet safety

Dear John,

We were all very pleased to see your Officers in a prominent position in Spa Road Hockley today.

They were outside Somerfields drawing attention to passers by about purse/wallet safety after several incidents in the area which you know about.

PCSO Andy Hill told me that they had given out around 120 “purse chains” mainly to older people to encourage better security.

That’s an excellent initiative so “well done” to all concerned.
